I was merely taken aback when I saw the book at my friend’s house. The book’s title is No Regrets: The Life of Edith Piaf. I love this French singer. I have been watching her successful career for years. And now, when such wonderful book is published, I am glad I know the entire story step-by-step. So, this book is just a find for those who became fans of Edith Piafway back in the last century. That sounds too fat, I know. However, Edith Piaf managed to become a legend for more than a generation. The fact of her life and career really amaze. It is essential to know that the world’s legend has been raised by the turns in a brothel, a circus caravan, and just simple working class people. I was seriously astonished at the fact that her first performances took place overnight, when she was merely seducing the late night’s Paris. The author seems to be a real fan of the singer because it is significantly described how Edi became a real France’s symbol from “the little sparrow”. Surprisingly, this ladies’ fame meant notoriety as well. Fame and glory do not always mean happiness and well-being; this is what No Regrets: The Life of Edith Piaf is about. I love talking about this singer, though I need to come back to my help with dissertation and proper essay writing to complete everything on time.
